In short: Sell My Tech is a UK specialist buyer of NAD Electronics — the understated, value-led audiophile name. We buy the C-series integrated amps (the retro C 3050, plus the C 388, C 368 and C 316BEE V2), the Masters series (M10 V2 and M33 BluOS streaming amps, M22 and M27 power amps), the C 658 BluOS streamer/DAC and C 268 power amp, and the classic 3020 that made the brand's name. BluOS streaming and fitted MDC upgrade modules both count toward the figure. We handle the boxes ourselves, collect free across the UK and pay on exchange.

Our NAD buying process

Sell your NAD in four steps

Four steps. From the details to payment, with free insured collection across the UK.

01

Tell us the NAD

Make and model (e.g. C 388 integrated, an M10 V2 streaming amp or a classic 3020), whether any MDC upgrade modules are fitted, the condition, service history and your postcode.

02

Get your offer

A market-led figure set by the model tier, whether it streams over BluOS, any MDC modules, boxing and condition. The 3020 and early units are priced on collectability. Usually back within hours.

03

Accept & book collection

Free, careful collection from your door at a slot that suits you. A weighty C 388 or a Masters power amp is lifted and padded properly, with no courier to chance.

UK NAD specialist

What you get when a specialist does the buying

No marketplace risk, no posting heavy kit, no lowball trade-in. A buyer who knows what your gear is really worth.

Paid on exchange

Faster Payment by bank transfer the moment we have powered the NAD up and verified it. Funds clear in under 2 hours for most UK banks.

Free, careful collection

A heavy C-series integrated or a Masters power amp is no fun to box and post. We lift, pad and carry it ourselves, so there is no risky courier and no packing on your end.

Handled with care

Heavier integrateds and stacked amp-plus-streamer pairings get a two-person collection. Channels tested, the BluOS side checked, chain of custody logged. We treat it like the kit it is.

Market-led offers

Benchmarked against sold prices for that exact NAD model — eBay-sold, HifiShark, UK Audio Mart and the specialist dealers. Fair, current figures, no haggling.

We know NAD

A C 368 against a C 388, what an M33 holds over an M10, what a fitted MDC module or BluOS adds, and why a tidy 3020 still has a following. We price on the real used market.

Support that replies

Real people who know a C 316BEE V2 from a C 3050, not bots. Most quote requests answered within 2 hours during UK business hours.

What affects price
  • + Boxed with the original packaging, remote and correct lead
  • + A current BluOS or other MDC module fitted and working
  • + Masters M10 V2 or M33 with the Dirac microphone and licence
  • + Recently serviced or recapped on a vintage 3020
  • Dead channel, scratchy control or a BluOS network fault
  • Empty MDC slot or an older, superseded module
  • No box, remote or Dirac microphone on the Masters gear
  • Heavy cosmetic wear, missing feet or a damaged fascia
NAD we buy

Every kind of NAD

Based in Yorkshire · UK-wide collection

Most common

C-series integrated amps

The amps we see most — the retro-styled C 3050, the C 388 and C 368 with their MDC slots, and the entry C 316BEE V2. The bulk of our NAD buying. A fitted streaming or DAC module lifts the figure, so tell us what is installed.

Streaming amps

Masters M10 & M33 (BluOS)

The M10 V2 and the flagship M33 — all-in-one BluOS streaming amps with Dirac room correction and a colour touchscreen. Strong, in-demand sellers, especially boxed. Note the version and whether the Dirac licence and microphone are included.

Streamer, DAC & power

C 658, C 268 & Masters power amps

The C 658 BluOS streaming preamp and DAC with its own MDC slot, the C 268 stereo power amp that pairs with it, and the Masters M22 and M27 power amps. Often quoted as a pair or stack. Note any fitted modules and whether each box is present.

Heritage

The 3020 & classic NAD

The 3020 that made NAD's name, plus the silver-and-grey 3000-series and early C-line units. Desirable even tired — a recap or service can lift the figure rather than sink it. Send photos of the fascia and serial.

Faulty & spares

Faulty, dead channel or won't stream

A dropped channel, a scratchy volume control, a BluOS unit that will not hold a network, a failed cap on a vintage 3020 — none of these stop us buying a desirable NAD. Tell us the fault and we will still quote for repair and resale.

Also buying

MDC modules, speakers & full systems

Spare MDC upgrade modules, quality speakers, turntables and complete NAD systems. Clearing or upgrading? We quote the amp, the streamer and the speakers together as one lot in a single visit.

NAD selling FAQ

Questions from sellers, answered

Common questions from people selling their NAD. Answered honestly.

What NAD gear do you buy?
C-series integrated amps (C 3050, C 388, C 368, C 316BEE V2), the Masters streaming amps (M10 V2 and M33), Masters power amps (M22, M27), the C 658 BluOS streamer/DAC, the C 268 power amp, and the classic 3020 and early 3000-series. Current models or sought-after older units — if it is a recognised NAD in reasonable order, it is worth asking about.
What's my NAD worth?
It turns on the model tier, whether it streams over BluOS, any fitted MDC modules, the boxing and the condition — so we do not publish a single figure. A boxed M33 or M10 V2 sits at the top; a well-used C 316BEE V2 sits lower. The price guide above gives current indicative buy-back bands by model. Send the exact unit for a firm offer.
Do you buy the Masters M10 and M33 BluOS streaming amps?
Yes — both are among our strongest NAD sellers. The M10 V2 and the flagship M33 hold their value well, helped by BluOS streaming, Dirac room correction and the touchscreen. Boxed examples sit higher. Tell us the version, whether the Dirac calibration microphone and licence are included, and how the unit reads.
Do fitted MDC upgrade modules add value?
Yes, and they are priced as part of the figure. NAD's Modular Design Construction lets you add a BluOS streaming card, an HDMI board or a phono stage to a C 388, C 368 or C 658. A fitted, working module raises the unit's worth, and a spare module has its own resale value. List every module you have so the quote is accurate.
Is the classic 3020 still worth selling?
Often very much so. The 3020 made NAD's name and stays in demand with collectors and first-system buyers, as do the early 3000-series and grey-fascia C units. Age alone does not write a unit off — a recent recap or service usually lifts the figure rather than lowering it. Send the model, the serial and some photos for an honest figure.
How do you price a NAD amplifier or streamer?
Five things: the exact model and tier, whether it streams over BluOS, any fitted MDC modules, the condition, and what is included — remote, box, lead and any Dirac microphone. Vintage 3020 and 3000-series units are also priced on collectability. Mention each in the quote form for the fastest, most accurate offer.
Can I sell a faulty NAD — dead channel, scratchy control or won't stream?
Yes, on desirable models especially. A dropped or intermittent channel, a crackly volume control, a BluOS unit that will not hold a network, a blown fuse or failed capacitors on a vintage 3020 — none of these necessarily stop a sale. We buy for repair and resale, and we tell you exactly what the fault costs against the figure. Describe it honestly.
Should I include the box, remote and Dirac microphone?
If you have them, yes — the original box, the remote and the correct lead all help, and on the Masters streaming amps the Dirac calibration microphone and licence matter to the figure. Boxes count for more on the premium M-series gear that is awkward to ship. If they are long gone we still buy; mention what you have so the quote is accurate.
Does the version matter — M10 against M10 V2, or different MDC modules?
It does. The later M10 V2 values differently from the original, and a C 388 with a current BluOS module is worth more than one with an older card or an empty slot. Tell us the exact version, or send a photo of the rear panel and any fitted modules, and we will price the right one rather than guess.
Can you quote my whole NAD system together — amp, streamer and speakers?
Yes. If you are clearing or upgrading a full system, we buy the lot together — usually worth more than splitting it. A NAD amp lives in our Sell My Amplifiers category, the Sell My Hi-Fi hub covers the streamers, DACs and speakers, and Cambridge Audio is a close peer we also buy if you are moving the whole rack on. We quote it all in one visit.
About Sell My Tech

Run by people who know the gear. Specialists in NAD.

Sell My Tech is a UK specialist buyer of NAD Electronics, and we have traded in budget-audiophile hi-fi across Yorkshire and the rest of the UK for years. NAD has always been the quiet over-achiever — plain grey boxes that punch far above their price, from the legendary 3020 to today's BluOS streaming amps. We know why an M33 holds its money, what a fitted MDC module adds to a C 388, and how the C 316BEE V2 values against a tidy 3020. We price every unit on the live used market, never a generic screen.

Sold my Technics SL1210s

Sold my Technics SL1210s. The whole process was really straightforward. I sent the details through the website and got a fair quote back pretty quickly. Once I accepted, they arranged collection for the same day in Leeds. Communication was good throughout and payment was made straight after the unit was collected and checked. Really smooth experience overall and I'd happily recommend them.
