A tidy MK2 pair out of a Saltaire mill flat — genuine lids, one worn fader, boxes long gone, kept by a collector trading up to a Grand Class. Up the M606 and collected the same afternoon; we carried them down from the loft conversion ourselves.
Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 (pair) + DJM — Manningham, BD8 — £1,180
An NXS2 pair and a DJM mixer from a Manningham DJ who'd cut his teeth on the bhangra and bassline circuit — flight-cased, one screen scuffed, no boxes. The bank transfer settled on exchange; he kept the headphones, we took the rest.
Technics SL-1200 M3D — Great Horton, BD7 — £250
A single M3D off a University of Bradford student in Great Horton — ex-practice, pitch a little notchy, lid scuffed, no extras. Booked round his lectures; gone and paid for before the end of term, carried out from a shared house on a steep terrace.
Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 — Great Horton, BD7 — £120
A boxed DDJ-FLX4 from a University of Bradford student clearing the room at the end of term — barely used, all the bits, original packaging. A quick BD7 pickup carried out of the shared house and paid on the spot.
iMac 24-inch M1 from Saltaire, BD18
A silver 24-inch M1 out of a mill conversion within sight of Salts Mill, boxed with the Magic Keyboard and Mouse, sold by a couple moving to a laptop and a dock. Two floors up with no lift, so we brought the trolley and carried it down ourselves. Over the M62, quoted off photos, paid by transfer at the door.
iMac 27-inch 5K from Heaton, BD9
An Intel 27-inch 5K with upgraded memory and a Fusion Drive, retired from a back-bedroom office when the owner moved to a laptop and a separate display. Stand present, box long gone, a faint scuff on the foot. Collected the same afternoon she messaged, off the Heaton side of the A650, and settled on exchange.
MacBook Air M2 from Shipley, BD18
A 13-inch M2 Air in midnight, low cycle count, one corner scuff off a rucksack, charger included. The owner was stepping up to a 14-inch Pro for video work and wanted the Air moved on before it slipped further. A short run up the A650; checked at the kitchen table and paid on exchange.
MacBook Pro 13-inch from Great Horton, BD7
A University of Bradford graduate's Intel 13-inch Pro, Touch Bar, keyboard tidy but the battery flagged for service. He had written it off as worthless. We priced the cell replacement in openly, took the charger with it and paid by transfer before he left the city. Ten minutes up the hill from the centre.

One is British Asian: the city was a centre of the bhangra boom and the Asian underground, and there's still a soundsystem and bass culture round Manningham and the inner wards. The other is the DIY and alternative scene that grew up around the 1 in 12 Club in the 1980s and never quite went away.
