Sell your DJ gear, hi-fi & turntables in Sheffield.
In short: Sheffield gave the world bleep techno and bassline house, so there's serious kit in this city — and we buy all of it. Since 2015 we've collected Technics decks, CDJs and audiophile separates across the seven hills, coming in off the Parkway and the M1 from our West Yorkshire base — from the student streets of Crookes and Broomhill down to Heeley, Hillsborough and the foundries-turned-bars of Kelham Island. Collection's free and same-day, and the money lands the moment we've checked the gear over.

The kind of kit we collect in Sheffield
Indicative of the gear and figures typical for this area.
Technics SL-1210 MK2 (pair) — Crookes, S10 — £780
A graduating pair off the Crookes student streets — genuine lids, slip mats long gone, faders worn soft from three years of practice. Booked the week before the tenancy ran out; we came in on the Parkway and had them loaded and paid for inside the hour.
Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 (pair) + DJM — Kelham Island, S3 — £1,250
A warehouse DJ thinning out a Hope Works-era rig: an NXS2 pair and a DJM mixer in a flight case, one jog a touch stiff, no boxes. Collected from a Kelham Island workshop unit; the bank transfer cleared while the case was still on the bench.
Technics SL-1200 MK5 — Hillsborough, S6 — £390
A single MK5 from a DJ who'd worked the bassline circuit back in the Niche days — pitch fader still perfect, plinth marked, no box. He'd hung onto it for years; we settled on the doorstep and carried it down from the top-floor flat ourselves.
Pioneer CDJ-3000 (pair) — Kelham Island, S3 — £2,600
A current CDJ-3000 pair from a Kelham Island promoter scaling a warehouse rig back — boxed, latest firmware, screens unmarked. Collected from the unit off the access yard; bank transfer settled while we loaded the cases.
iMac 24-inch M1 from Crookes, S10
A graduate off the Crookes student streets clearing a desk before the tenancy ran out, M1 in the blue finish, boxed with the Magic Keyboard and Mouse, one corner scuffed. We came in on the Parkway, checked it over and paid on the doorstep inside the hour.
iMac 27-inch 5K from Ecclesall, S11
A 27-inch 5K Intel from a home office out in Ecclesall, a Fusion drive getting slow and the original stand but no box. We padded it on the table, confirmed it booted clean and wiped, and the transfer cleared before the machine was off the desk.
Cracked 13-inch MacBook Pro from Heeley, S2
A 13-inch Pro off a Heeley terrace with the lid spider-cracked and lines down the panel, still booting fine to the login screen. The owner thought it was scrap. We came in on the Parkway, confirmed the board and SSD were sound, wiped it and settled for the parts on the doorstep.
Won't-boot MacBook Air with a swollen battery from Stannington, S6
An M-era Air from a Stannington garage clear-out, trackpad lifting where the battery had swollen and dead on the charger. No power, no box. We collected up on the western edge, took it for the screen, chassis and storage, and the transfer cleared while we logged the fault.
Why there's good gear round here
Few cities have a deeper electronic pedigree. Warp Records started here in 1989, and bleep techno — Forgemasters, LFO, Nightmares on Wax — came straight out of the city's clubs. A decade later Sheffield did it again with bassline, the 4x4 sound that grew out of Niche. Add the synth lineage of the Human League and Cabaret Voltaire, two universities turning over thousands of bedroom DJs a year, and a warehouse scene round Hope Works in the east end, and you get a city that's forever buying and selling decks. Student turnover round Broomhill and Crookes (S10) feeds a steady run of lightly-used SL-1200s every summer; the hi-fi separates come from the leafier west — Ecclesall, Fulwood and Dore.
